Are you a former program participant? As you can see by this webpage, the program continues to grow and offer new opportunities for students. But we haven't forgotten our former students and would love to have your input: pictures, how your Spain experience has influenced the outcome of your life/career now, memories and contacts. We hope to hear from you!
See below pictures from different years... and enjoy the old memories!

MADRID HOYA NETWORK
A project started in the 2011-2012 academic year (coinciding with the Program's 20th and the Alumni club's 10th anniversaries) and with the sponsoring from former program participant, Christopher Landon (C'98), this initiative intends to draw together GU Alumni currently in Madrid and program participants. Not only will there be social networking events, but we hope that alumni will share their international experiences with students by promoting institutional visits to important think tanks, businesses and organizations in Madrid.
Activities sponsored by Christopher Landon (C' 98) and Sol Landon:
Spring 2012
FEBRUARY: Institutional visit to the US Embassy. Georgetown alumnus, Kathleen Hennessey, Consul General hosted a visit to the Embassy for the program students and GU Alumni Club former president. Speakers included Kate Byrnes, Counselor for Public Affairs and GU alumnus, Christine Fagan, Chief, American Citizens Services Unit, Embassy Intern Lauren Jaynes, Tara Gould, Management Unit, and of course, the Consul herself. The session proved to be very insightful on what the Embassy and the Consulate do, and on Foreign Service as a whole. Many thanks for their time, warmth and expertise!
